The History of Poker

Hello everyone. I have some great insight to share here. It will guide you to some very useful tools and strategies on how to build a bankroll starting out with a nominal amount of cash.
There are lots of tools out there to help you keep track of your pgogress as well. But, I have to say, good old fashion note taking instills what you observe a whole lot better than using electronics. You know, programs that monitor your hands played etc. Yes, they are a very usefull tool but, not when you need to build some cash to play.
Think about it. If you are at a point where you have a couple bucks only and want to build a bankroll, how is looking back at all your hands you played on other sites gonna help you at the site your on and at such a low value table. People will play differently there. Not much to lose! And besides, if you only have a few bucks on the site, chances are, you don't have that good a hand histroy to learn from!
So what you need to do is check the address out at the bottom of this note. See what you think. It works for a lot of people. It shows you step by step what to do to bring you from 6 dollars to over 200.
I am updating it and will have it posted here in the near future.

I’d like to end this bankroll building series by thanking a dear friend who helped me from day one in Texas Holdem poker. Tim Cosby known as Timbocroz. We met on Ultimate Bet at a play chip table. For some strange reason, Tim took a liking or at least a respect for me. In time, he started offering me a little help every now and again if I wanted it. Never really knew what he saw in me but sure am glad for whatever he saw. Occasionally he’d slide me over some play chips when I was low and give me a pointer or two. To sum all the good he’s done me since I met him in a sentence or two is nearly impossible. But I want to thank him someway so I thought I would make sure everybody who took the time to read this section understood where it came from.

Tim is a dear friend and is always willing to help. He started a forum for folks to get together and communicate holdem poker strategies and poker theories with each other and invited me to be a part of if pretty close to the beginning.

Since then, Tim has exploded in different directions. Opening up many sites. All of which are geared towards helping people learn solid poker skills and beginning strategies to successful bankroll building. I felt compelled to share this mainly because since I started with Tim, my poker skills have grown to a level where a few folks look at me as somewhat a decent Texas Holdem Tournament Player. Tim promoted me to an administrator on his forum not because he is a nice guy. I gave Tim my word I was going to put my best foot forward and help and that’s what I did.

Since the beginning, Tim told me he was going to drag me into the twenty-first century kicking and screaming if need be. He said he saw something in me that needed to be honed and shared. Lord only knows what it was but here I am. Well, it looks like he has accomplished yet another feat that nobody else could do. I now have this website,
http://foxypoker.tripod.com/.

Who ever knew me before, I’m sure would have put a whole lot of money against me ever having my own website. They would have laughed because they all know this country boy came from the back woods of Alaska. I have always said “give me a knife and point me to the door, in time, I'll feed you, clothe you and build you warm shelter. Hunting, Fishing and living off the land are all I’ve done most of my life”.

I decided in the beginning I was going to reciprocate in some way for all the poker sense or nonsense (LOL) he’s successfully knocked into my head. Since then, we have been working closely just helping folks. Well this building a bankroll series came from him and his long dedicated hours on the tables.
Thanks Tim! From my heart.
